[Taipei 台北] Eslite Spectrum Songyan Store ♦ 诚品生活松烟店－Lynda's Taiwan-logue

Eslite 诚品 bookstore is unlikely an unfamiliar name to Taiwan visitors, though more accurately, the brand has evolved into a cultural, lifestyle and retail icon, with malls operating as Eslite Spectrum 诚品生活. Place one of my favourite Taiwanese icons at one of my favourite cultural parks - and Eslite Spectrum Songyan Store 诚品生活松烟店 does not disappoint as a must-go destination.

▼ The first Wu Pao Chun 吴宝春 celebrity bread store has shifted out of this first (and rather small) shopfront, and expanded to other locations.

▼ Musikaffee 听见幸福 @ 2F - which ceased operations in Mar 2020 - was a lovely cafe where you could make your own musical box.

▼ Siidcha 吾谷茶粮 (吾榖茶糧) is a homegrown brand inspired by Hakka leicha (or ground tea), and concocted an innovative series of nut and grain flavoured products. Unfortunately, their outlet here has also ceased operations, but they still have a lovely cafe at Jiufen and an online store.

▼ Chun Shui Tang 春水堂 @ 3F - one of my favourite eateries despite the price point, and one of the two claiming to be the creator of Taiwanese pearl milk tea. Whether or not they are, I am definitely sold on theirs. (Side info, TP Tea 茶汤会 is their subsidiary.)
